Have you ever wondered why the hell my website is named "zerick.com" and not a name like "delphinelevesquedemersart.com" ?
Well first, delphinelevesquedemersart.com would be way too long to type, hehe!

No seriously, Zerick, who I named my website after, is the name of a character I created when I was only about 8-10 years old. This mysterious character has been following me since then and is in my dreams and lives in my own little world. He grew up with me in my mind and has always reflected my current feelings, thoughts, secrets, personal tastes, and my own philosophy about certain things. I have been drawing him in many different ways for more than half of my life.

It's hard for me to explain things about who Zerick truly is. He is a reflection of my own little world and I find all the questions and answers I need to know from him. I know it sounds rather strange, but it makes perfect sense to me ^_^ !

Zerick continues to live after all these years and it's my dream to share his great adventures with everyone, maybe in the form of a comic book someday!

When I had to pick a name for my official website a couple of years ago, I of course knew right away Zerick.com would be the perfect name without any hesitations! Since the name "Zerick" has become more like a kind of "universe" to me now, I thought it would obviously be *the* name to pick for a website about myself, my art, my world!

So now you know. Zerick is something/someone I have in me. He has known many different physical styles and such, but he will always stay the same person/thing to me. He is my Soul ... ! ^_-
